What is Lincolnshire Obedience Club?

Just over 2 years ago I attended a competitive obedience camp with Anna Herzog and learned about FCI style obedience for the first time. Since then I have attended multiple workshops and camps up and down the country, completed stewards training and competed in a few training competitions along the way. Safe to say I love the sport and wanted more people to learn about it too and so Lincolnshire Obedience Club was born!

FCI obedience is a fantastic sport that is currently gaining a lot of traction in the UK (yay!) but it is already huge in Europe. It is full of variety with a wide range of exercises sharing some similarities of agility, gundog & working trials combined with obedience. It's so much more than just heelwork and as someone who enjoys sport with 'off breeds' I love that there's something for every dog to enjoy!

Even if you have no desire to compete I personally think enjoying sport with your dog is fantastic, it has so many positive knock-on effects on their lives, relationship with you and training. Something I never fully understood until I started dabbling in dog sport.
